Gold Sovereign Pendant

Transforming this beautiful little 22 carat gold sovereign into a pendant was a lovely commission from a client who wished to create a wearable necklace for her son.

Keeping the design simple for the ornate piece, Olivia handcrafted a subtle 4 clawed mount to fully showcase both sides of the tiny coin which features King Edward VII on the front side and the iconic George & the Dragon design on the reverse. The mounted sovereign was then added to a 18ct gold chain.

The sovereign was originally a gift from the boy’s father, always treasured, but now wearable.
